Why should I hire a birth doula?

Based on evidence, having a doula can help decrease your chances of medical intervention such as pain medications or having a c-section. You will have constant support throughout the entire process. You will also have extra support when advocating for yourself, increasing your chances of a more positive experience overall.

What is a doula?

A doula is a professional support person who provides hands-on support, as well as emotional, informational, and partner support if you have one during your pregnancy, labor & delivery, and postpartum experience.

Why should I hire a postpartum doula?

Based on evidence, having a postpartum doula can help to reduce your emotional stress with extra support. A postpartum doula provides in-home support with newborn care, light housework, emotional support, and more, helping to provide the smoothest possible transition into parenthood.
